Ada Lovelace published the first computer program in 1843. She was also the first person to describe a general purpose computer. This pin, part of our Women in Science Collection, celebrates Lovelace's contributions to the field of computer science. 

This pin is based on a punch card made for the Analytical Engine, the mechanical computer that Lovelace’s program was designed to run on.

This pin comes with a fold-out card with Lovelace's story.

This pin is 2" wide and has two posts to hold it in place. .
