At Dissent Pins, we believe conversations are critical to social change. (In fact, before designing the Dissent Collar Pin, we designed a conversation game that helps everyone talk about one of the most challenging topics around: Death. Check it out here.)
Every election makes a difference, but the November 2020 election might be the most important in US history. We all have a role to play, and it's never too early to start preparing for The Big One. That's why we created this simple conversation kit and commitment card, to help us prepare together.
We've been designing conversation tools for more than 10 years, and we've found that the best tools are often paper, a pen, and some simple rules to help us all be better listeners. We've taken what we've learned from the other tools we've designed and created this simple toolkit you can use with friends, family, or the other volunteers at your local phone bank to help us each make a deeper commitment to making change in 2020.
What you'll need:
- A printer
- A pen
